This is completely natural. Your breasts are growing and of course there srtetching the skin so stretch marks will occur. Just put some cream on the stretch marks either Nivia Johnsons cream etc and they will stop being as noticable.

my son is nearly 7 months and seems to only tolerate powder foods that you mix with water. if i try to introduce yoghurt or mash or anything like that he becomes constipated, he is having two breastfeeds a day with 3 powdered foods. he also comes out in a rash on his face, sometimes its only a bit other times its all round his eyes and is red and blotchy but not raised, this is when he has fruit, and usually disappears after half an hour and doesnt seem to cause him discomfort. surely this is not normal?

I am almost 16, and from the age of about 12 maybe 13 I have had stretch marks. They started down the whole of my inner thigh, and then about 3 maybe 4 months later I noticed them on my hips. About 8 months ago I noticed them on my upper arms and my breasts. I'm worried my boyfriend will judge me as I tend to wear clothes that hide my stretch marks as I'm self conscious of them. They do not itch/hurt. Some are pink/purple and others are a little bit lighter than my skin tone. I wouldn't say I was overweight, but I'm not the skinniest. I don't want to to have to go to Spain early next year and have to hide myself from my family. Also in June next year I have my prom and i do not them to be visible as i get bullied about them enough in school. Please, please, please help me. I'm fed up with being self conscious now, I want my old life back!!!

yes totaly normal but annoying at the same time its where your growing and producing your chest you skin will be stretching which will cause stretch marks but they will fade in time

Completely! I had them when I was 13 and its only because at that age you grow really quickly, especially the breasts. I'd recommend using bio oil; the effects aren't immediate but over time the stretch mark become skin coloured and barely noticable. I'm 18 now and the stretch marks have completely gone. Hope this helps!

Stretch marks appeared on my back when I was 13/14 (they are still there now at 27, although quite faded). The reason for them (from what I was told) is quick spurts of growth in height which stretch the skin on the back. I grew in height by about 6 or 7 inches in under a year.

hi there. Im 15 and ever since i remember i have had rather "deep" strech marks in my inner thigh and like you im not overweight however my BM shows i am underweight. They dont bother me too much its not in an area people can see however if you have a problem with it i think you should go to your GP because there could be a soultion for it. Just a quick question my marks fade then come back again just wondering if yours do ?

I'm 14 and have stretch marks on my breast and the tops of my legs. it's just where they have grown. Lots of people have stretch marks in all different places. I really dont think its anything to worry about. It's totally normal. :]

Honestly, don't worry. A LOT of teenagers get stretch marks due to sudden growth which their bodies can't cope with- thank you puberty. To get rid of them, get some Bio Oil- works for scarring-, or buy some Medurma skin cream which is expensive so try a moisturiser first and use it as a last resort. You could also consider rubbing olive oil on the marks regularly- this has worked for some. I know close friends that have had stretch marks and most of them have faded- only one or two deep marks have remained. Try this and good luck :)

Olivia - 7 st 4 and 5 ft 3 inches - is very slim - don't worry about your weight. You have stretch marks because you are growing quickly. Please do not be ashamed of them there is very little you can do about them - just like having blue or brown eyes, some people get them and some don't. Keep using the bio-oil on your existing marks but try some cocoa butter products too - I've found that nourishing the skin makes it look much better and the marks do not show so much.

i started to get stretch marks on my inner legs and hips when i was 13 and i was a healthy weight at the time and it really dragged me down so i know how you feel and even a boy who saw them throught they were scars not stretch marks which was awful for me. i'm afraid it takes time for them to fade i have tried many creams oils and non of them work for me sadly i have stretch mark prone skin like my mother, i am dreading when i get pregnant as i know my stomach will be covered in them. all i can suggest it keep moisturing and in the summer tan your stretch marks as it makes them less visable. they are horrible and i struggled with them for 10years now but sadly nothing can be done. luckly my partner isnt bothered by them. but keep your chin up and try not to let it get you down.

ive had stretch marks since i was around 14 they started on my hips and inner thighs and now ive got them on my arms aswell ive been so conscious that ive worn full length clothes since i was 14 even in the summer, i hated the summer and could never enjoy myself but now im pregnant with my first child and have got stretch marks on my belly to but the father never took notice of them i think girls are more judgmental of themselves than men wud be and stretchmarks are only natural, ive found a miracle solution that is 100% proven effective of in most cases completly removing stretchmarks even the white ones, it is the derma roller, but to prevent them in the first place the best thing to do is stay healthy and hydrated, water reli does work miracles for ur skin and also prevents cellulite along with keeping ur skin well moisturised and exfoliated so my advice to young girls is that

Okay I'll be the crazy one to tell you, it's really a mind over matter situation. Most guys don't care about them hence the "if they don't mind it don't matter" :P However, if you're feeling down as I was about mine, (I've got lots after two kids), you should really consider using exfoliates in the shower. Scrapes off old skin and causes your body to generate new skin. That actually helps. And there was once this website that said meditating helps, and honestly it did for me. Stretch marks are also caused by stress. Meditating can actually release chemicals that heal your body. Your body has the ability to heal naturally over time as well, give it a helping hand with positive thought, taking vitamins, and using moisturizing lotions/soaps. Eventually some people even claim stretch marks become so healed they seem to disappear!

Robert, if it hasn't cleared up I'd see a doctor. Cuts or stretch marks on the foreskin aren't uncommon but can be painful for a short time afterwards in my experience. In some situations they can reoccur as the original damage becomes scar tissue and doesn't stretch like normal skin. Not sure about the thick skin bit! Get professional advice and you will have peace of mind as most things can be fixed and you will laugh about it one day.

My 8 year old grandson has several bald patches on his head which have appeared over the last 2/3 weeks. The oldest one has hair growing back evenly already. He is autistic and goes to a special school with other children with various special needs and when my daughter noticed it, he said a boy at school was pulling it out and that he had told his teacher that this boy was also kicking and punching him. The school dispute this, although he is covered in bruises. If it was alopecia, it wouldn't grow back straight away would it?

Hi I'm 19 and I have the same condition like you except on my stomach and the colour of my stretch marks are deep white marks:stretch marks on my thighs, boobs, hips, legs and bum. I too have to dress up in a way that doesn't show parts of my body because I'm really embarrassed for other people to see them. I have used bio oil which doesn't work. I would also like to know about any other treatments that would help get rid/reduce the appearance of my stretch marks. thanks

Get some Bio oil! Great for stretchmarks. Rub in twice daily :) Stretch marks fade into skin coloured lines eventually. Keep smiling, you are normal!

I'm a 16 yr old girl. I used to wear bikinis when I was in sixth grade but when I started to get stretch marks, I couldn't wear them anymore. I have stretch marks around my breasts, the outer part of my underarm, inner and outer thighs and I just barely noticed that I have stretch marks on my stomach yesterday. I'm very depressed, I gained a lot of weight and I don't know what to do. I want to lose weight so bad, but I'm worried that I might get more stretch marks. What should I do?
