OKAY, I GOTTA type this question quickly. I'm 20 years old and I think I have adhd, though i dont think im hyper.. i just have really bad memory such as dont know what i said just a few seconds ago or i have something in my hand but im still looking for it, not realising its already in my hand or have something in my hand but forget to put it back and take it with me instead. Also, and cant concentrate at all. it's really hard for me. for example, when im talking to anyone and start to listen to them, my mind drifts of somewhere else and my brain just starts think about something else and when it's time for me to answer. I really dont know what to say and i just nod my head like a dumbo. I have realised i had this in my younger years when i was in school, in my school reports i always got told i daydream alot and not very talkative. My family just thought I was just a slow guy with a brain that processes slowly. I remember when my teachers always used to ask me a question, either my mind goes blank. i just did not know what they said as i did not concentrate on what they said i think. I always remember in exams when im reading a question, i have to read it around about a 100 times for my brain to take it in. because my brain is too busy thinking about what i did yesterday or something like that. its just really hard for me. My whole lifes been a pile of crap and i've been depressed. my family never notice me to be honest. if it's not adhd. its gotta be something else.

I don't have an answer for you mate but i am the same at 43! I hear when people talk to me but forget to answer. You are not thick just misunderstood like me. I am going to search for a local ADHD support group, perhaps youi should too.

My son just turned 4 we have been under the hospital for about a year now and hes had eeg's and mri scans and still found no brain problems but he has been diagnosed with focal epilepsy due t the electricity being produced further in the brain, When he has a seizure his eyes roll leg and arm stiffen and he's a bit twitchy sometimes he can do 10 in a day then nothing for a few weeks. He is now taking a anti seizure drug called Carbamazephine and they are at bay so go back and pester your gp for cosultant referal! My son is also very fit and healthy in every other way. Good luck x

Dont worry i heard that you have to reach a sertan weight and height before a mucle in your brain triggers a period :)

My 16 month old daughter has just been diagnosed with a squint and we have been told that she could have surgery at any age but it would be just cosmetic and not repair any damage to sight, maybe a trip to the doctors for a referel to your local eye hospital may help.

My baby is 5 weeks old and he has a tight foreskin I have been given different advice I doctor said to pull it back, another said not to as it can cause damage to the oenis and another said he will need to be circumsized I'm not sure what to do , do you have any advice

Hi Nina. All babies have tight foreskins. It is natures way of keeping the penis protected and it works very well in the modern world when they have messy incidents! Clean the area well after soiling but don't pull it back. No need for circumcision either. The boy himself will try and pull it back when he is older and that is normal. In the meantime, enjoy your new baby. Take care.

my 9 year old daughter gets water infections all the time and has grade 5 reflux and kidney scaring and kidney damage, surgery has not helped with the reflux and the uti's wont go away, and she keeps leaking urine and has to use catherters.

my mother in-law had this with her daughter she used to pull chunks out of her head. in the end she kept it very short until she found comfort in something else she had beautiful tight ringlets when she was going threw her hair pulling

The muscular ring at the tip of the foreskin can be enlarged by the use of a cream prescribed by the doctor. It will take only a few weeks, and will avoid the great damage that is circumcision. As my husband would tell you, your foreskin is a means of great pleasure for your whole life. Sadly, his foreskin was removed, and now he gets little pleasure from his penis.

My daughter has just turned two. She has been walking for approximately a year correctly and confidently but for the past week or so she has started walking on her toes. She does this all the time now. She fractured her lower leg in August 2011 and I was concerned that the toe walking could be as a result of this. I have tried to encourage her to flatten her foot when walking but this has not helped. Can you offer any advice to stop her doing this as I dont want her to suffer any lasting damage and would like this corected ASAP. Thank you.

Have you noticed any developmental problems or heard anyone who has had any? The only thing holding me back from getting the helmet for my son is the fear that it will cause brain damage on a such a sensitive little head.

I was very worried reading the following sentence: 'Dr Christian sends Bradley and his mum Hayley to see an orthotist who will fit Bradley with a helmet...it will mould those soft bones into the right shape.' I was very thrilled TV4 is raising awareness in this area as it has been neglected by the NHS but unfortunately it will cause a lot more mysteries. I already had a chat with a worried mum whose baby would need the helmet but she doesn't want to risk brain damage. The helmet IS NOT moulding the bones as far as I understand from Dr Blecher who is a leading researcher surgeon in Europe in this area and has been treating thousands of babies in the past 17 year.

I score 32 sometimes more .I'm being assessed for autism spectrum disorder, you might not be odd , you might be normal for being autistic . If you do not have any problems then it's not a disability it's a benefit . Its the way the brain works you could check out systemising quatant along with empathising quatant and plot on the graph if you systemise more then you have a logical brain unfortunately most people in thevworld appear to be illogical and I get confused! If your not judgemental and are very honest then that probably clinches it being diagnosed is very difficult and if your ok probably not necessary. I think you should consider the possibility and not see yourself as odd though sometimes I like being a bit odd if it means I'm not neurotypical !

It is important for a kid with a squint to get it fixed up, because if left untreated, they wont be able to fix it because the brain gets so used to it, that its been permenantly programmed. I speak from experience- at 25 I am left with amblyopia. I did not have any treatment for the squint when I was little. I have no idea why that was my eyes refuse to work together. My brain relies on my right eye. If I try to look out of both my eyes at the same time, I get 2 seperate images, with a gap in the middle, and also the focus switches! Like now when I look out of both my eyes at the monitor the screen blurs, and out of my right eye I see the left edge of the monitor, and out of my left eye, I see the right edge of the monitor! Normally I look at the screen with my right eye. MY left eye can still see yet my brain mostly ignores the image, as it looks to the far right, and gives a different angle of the image than my right eye I can't drive because of the condition. I cannot judge distance and depth, though that might be because of my Aspergers syndrome, rather than my sight alone. I hope that people that could still have this problem fixed, get it fixed before they end up in my position

Tips to increase penis size: You should do the following from the ages of 14 to 21. 1.Stay lean, thin and muscular with exercise such as running and weights. 2.Eat well. 3.Don't masturbate too much, and when you do, don't damage penis by applying too much pressure Exercise increases testosterone, the male hormone. Weights are especially good for this. Being thin means less cholesterol (the fatty stuff that clogs blood vessels), consequently testosterone is more effective. Being thin also means there is more blood flow to the penis; so when you get spontaneous erections it stretches out the 3 spongy chambers of the penis. See diagram: http://en.academic.ru/dic.nsf/enwiki/265769o Don't masturbate too much as this depletes energy and effects hormone levels. The penis was not designed for the strong pressure of the hand. Over-masturbation is likely to damage the delicate spongy chambers of the penis. This leads to energy being diverted into repairing the penis rather than growth. I would avoid spending time on the computer as this resists the temptation to look at porn and masturbate. Also the electro-magnetic radiation from the monitor is not good for you if your head/brain is too close to it. You should be getting spontaneous erections. Erections are good for expanding out the penis with blood. This happens a lot during sleep. The herb Ginkgo baloba has also been proven to increase blood flow and open up blood vessels. You can buy them in tablet form (just do a google search). So be thin, muscular and don't masturbate too much. Other masculine traits will result from this too: deep voice, angular jaw, pronounced forehead and big space between eyes.

Dear Callum , a low score suggests that you might not or that some of the questions might be confusing at to what they mean. The combined tests for the extreme male brain ie sytemising over empathising I think might be a better test to indicate a possibility. I cannot think that if you think you have this type of brain then you probably do . If your a successful party goer with loads of close friends & you have had loads of girl friends & a successful job with good qualifications & you do not get obsessed with topics or really good at one specialist thing but rubbish at most other things then your certainly not disabled in the society we have created or should that be they? I would like to be socially successful but I'm not! And I cannot think why ? Except that I have something that makes me different .........

Im a 14year old female, at christmas i used to weight about 13stone 13pounds , I piled a load of weigh on due to being in a coma in hospital with severe brain damage cause i was knocked over and i was on a drip for 10days.....anyways now in may i weigh 11stone 6pounds at 5foot 7inches and a big build with muscle, I havent really done much to loose weight just cut down portion sizes and eat healthy, exercise more (im.alot fitter now than i was, i did the 800m in school the other day in 4:20mins,faster than some pepole.....i wouldnt of been able to do that back last year) i think ive lost baby fat too, alot of pepole say to me that i am tall and slim and look great. Im happy ive lost so much (2stone 6pounds, 34pounds) but im looking to lose some more weight at a slower speed tho cause i now i havent had a period since december (i know they're normally irregular at this age cause i only started back last january 2012, but ive been under a bit of stress and loosing weight its not helping, although ive been getting PMS symptoms.

I'm David & I am waiting to be diagnosed for ASD , I also have dyslexia. My score changes from around 28 to 36 depending on mood . A low score might suggest that you don't have this as a problem . It could mean as you have questioned your score that possibly didn't understand some of them. I would recommend that you look at the sytemising quatant of the extreme male brain plus the connected tests of empathy . I think it is the way the brain works in a logical way of course in a illogical world it can be confusing when dealing with other people that's why socially it's a bit confusing ! You need to ask yourself if you feel that your socially isolated do you prefer to be on your own alot. That being said would you like to have friends & relationships like others? If you do find this is the case then you need to investigate further . The Internet is a good source check what other people are writing. I can usually tell if some one is autistic or even has traits. Being female does make it harder as it does not show as clearly to the 'experts' I have read that if you think you are autistic then your probably are .who would want to admit to being lousy with relationships & possibly not interested in sex. I had 2 girl friends at once I did not realise that it was inappropriate & was horrified to discover it was! That sort of thing may suggest that you have difficulties ! Also getting obsessed & going on about a single subject I drive my Mum crackers with it!

My daughter is 8 years old and has constantly sufferd with build up of ear wax and reduced hearing without pain or fever since the age of 3. I have taken her to the G.P several times and have been instructed to use ear wax remover but I am worried if this continues it will damage her hearing as she gets older what can I do next to help her.

I think she may have glu ear. This is common in children and they should grow out of it. Go to the doctors and they well double check and give you some medicine. It shouldn't effect her hearing when she is older.

Had an appointment with my neurologist who i see regarding the removal of a brain tumour in 2009 and who i also see for epilepsy. He told me i show signs of autistic "traits" but im not autistic. I scored 32. Does that sound about right? Kat
