Hello, i am a 14 year old girl and suffer from an eating disorder since i was 12, i get very tired a lot of the time but can then go very hyperactive but will be tired again after. Although i have an eating disorder i am slightly overweight and have been dieting/doing as much excersize as possible but i am unable after a short period as i get tired and my asthma also causes me trouble. Therefore as much as i might diet i cannot seem to actually shift away much weight as i would like. I have painful and clicky hips but my gp said that i should be fine i have results of an exray on its way. After looking up ways to loose weight on a daily bases i have ran out of ways to loose weight whilst being healthy and as you can probably imagine with all my problems i am finding it really hard. Please could you get back with help as soon as possible.?

Hey mate. You should get a test done as soon as possible, just to put your mind at risk. Just ask your mum, and she will test to straight away, and don't worry about asking her, because it will put her mind at ease as well to do the test. Good luck mate, and let me know what happens plz. Btw i am type 1 diabetic :D

my daughter at 23 had the same symptoms, i took her to a pharmacy to rule out diabetes, but, she had type 1...if i hadn't of taken her when i did she would have gone into a coma....now we dont want that happening to you, go and get tested, take your mum with you, there is nothing to be ashamed of....let me know how you get on xx

my son (age 2) has been diagnosed with bilateral tight tendo-achilles. Is there something you can do about it. He is currently walking on his toes and tired all the time after a short walk. He is currently having therapy to improve core stability. We are still waiting for him to be referred to a specialist and just wondering what kind of treatment there will be to get this rectified. We are worried as he will be attending reception/ pre-school soon and don't want him to miss out.

Try feeling around the furthest top part of the scrotum (testical sac). When I was young I clearly remember one of my testy's shifting up near the side of my penis. I would gently push it back into place.

thankyou, but as though this explains what is wrong with me, though i am still normal, though not feeling it, it doesnt help my self-estime. I am 13 and im really worried about this condition. I think it may get worse, and I can't tell my sister of mum, as I am sure they both dont have it. The only thing that helps me from feeling only a tiny bit better, is that im not alone in this, but that soon wears off, and when i get dressedd for p.e im ashamed, and feel awquard.

my son is 9 years old, he has very rarely gone to the toilet on his own. He soiled his pants every day 3 to 4 times a day. Last year i read a book from America and it said to treat the constipation from the back passage up. In otherwords use a suppository. For the last 12 months my son has been clean,he has a supository every 3 days and within 1/2hr he goes to the toilet on his own he gets the feeling. We are now trying the lactulose to see if he gets the feeling to go on his own but everything is very positive.

I am so tired of not getting any conclusive answers or results from the doctor. We have a consultants appointment tomorow after waiting 3 months! Meanwhile my daughters condition has worsened: Been on medicine since she was 3 and now nearly 6 years old. We are nearly finished primary 1 and she is now incontinent- she was not this bad at the beginning of the school term She soils her pants every couple of hours On max dosage medicine a day- 4 sachets of movicol and 30 mls of lactilose She is naturally small for her age but really not growing much- I see a difference in height of her friends since the start of the school year and my daughter in comparison is just not really growing Enjoys her food and eats a varied diet but very small portions She always has a distended and solid feeling stomach Her belly button looks like an outy even though it is not! What is the usual procedure tests that can be carried out to ensure a thorough review and to rule out possible conditions? I want to ensure a thorough investigation is carried out by the consultant.

I here you loud and clear. My son suffered exactly the same as your daughter, going to see the consultant every few months and nothing seem to change, the last straw was when I witnessed my son being bullied at school about the smell emanating from him, it was heart breaking, i took him out of school immediately , he was 8 then. I noticed the difference more or less straight away when he started his new school. Now he is 14 and although the constipation and the leaking has stopped he does have very large stools sometimes almost a foot long, the doctor isn't worried about it nor his consultant. He is still a skinny bean pole but eats like a horse. For my son it seems that it was a problem that he has simply grown out of, this may hopefully be the case for your daughter.

Hi, I'm 17 and ive had a problem with tight foreskin but its never bothered me until about 2 years ago. A few times ive masturbated and noticed i get small tears on the inside of my foreskin, theres no bleeding but i can still see them. I can pull the skin back with some force and difficulty when its flaccid but its still possible. When im erect i cant pull it all the way back, i only get up to half if it down my head and i start feeling pressure and about a quarter of it without feeling anything. Would you suggest i start stretching or wait it out to see if it eventually loosens up?

Hi Gilbert. It's highly unlikely to loosen up by itself so start stretching. It will feel so much better when you can freely pull it back and wash the penis head. A warm bath or shower is a good place to start. Be patient - it could take a few months before you can do it fully when erect but eventually it will start to shift and feel good. The small tears you have seen are normal and the liquid is sometimes called "pre-cum". Hope this helps

I have posted a few replies to comments on Flat-Head problems. I will shut up now and leave all you Mums and Dads with a piece of personal advice for any issue not just Flat-Head. YOU know that gut-feeling feeling when something is not right with your child. If someone (professional or not) gives you advice you are not happy with don't just agree with them and do nothing. im 17 and this is the first i have ever had chickenpox. I was feeling sick since saturday morning, i slept the whole day away. I had a fever, back pains and i felt dizzy and light headed. I really wasnt aware i had chickenpox untilI I woke up on Monday and see my face covered with blisters as i just thought i had a viral infection as viral infections were something i used to get alot as a child. Today is now the fourth day of having chickenpox and im not itchy and i feel better. Calamine lotion and cotton wool helped me stop itchying. im no longer feeling sick and im eating much better.

I can advise you pranic healing which is an energy healing technique , u can get pranic healing done also u can do the two day course your self. It can help u treat and prevent your ulcers i wish u all the best. Look it up on internet and find a pranic healing centre close to you.

I know exactly how you feel. I suffered with them all my life. It really effected my childhood. A couple of years ago I was having a few blood test at doctors and it turned out I was b12 deficient. My body was not absorbing it. So I have to have b12 injections every 12 weeks and it was like a miracle cure. My mouth ulcers stopped. I get the odd One now and then but nothing like what I suffered all my life.

This sounds very similar to my experiences before being diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. I was so frustrated with continuously feeling ill despite a negative blood test, that I kept going back to the doctors until they did more and went further with a biopsy. After 2 years of feeling much like you do, I was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease, and being quite sporty, was really pleased to find that I could eat lots of gluten free pasta and other foods similar to my previous diet, but free from gluten. Don't give up, if you want to feel well, go to the doctors without your mum. Sometimes we've got to take control and push ahead to get the answer we want. Wishing you all the Best.

Hi, I'm 23. I am suffering from majority of the symptoms stated above I mean I have cloudy urine, it really burns during and after urinating. The last two times however I have noticed a blood after urinating. Quite stressful really.. The after burning sensation was reduced when I wiped myself with water straight after urinating. I have been feeling sick as well! I have just read the threads above and just seen that u must treat constipation quickly to avoid UTI. I have been quite stressed recently with having to move away from home to go to uni.. Which had affected my system quite a fair bit. Erm.. I suffered from constipation lady week also had a milder form of UTI, I thought it went away but it came back today! Not a nice feeling at all.. Especially when your Trina to sleep n have an early start in the morning!

Hi- if your child also is very flexible (double jointed etc) it might be worth checking out the Hypermobility Assoc website as long term constipation is a symptom associated with the illness and many of the laxatives do not work - we had 5 days of 12 sachets of movicol and it did no good at all.
