is the itching worse at night? I noticed my 12 year old daughter was itching back there throughout the day and night. I checked her bottom one afternoon because she was in distress but found nothing. Googled her symptoms when she woke up one night with it being particularly itchy and found out that if the itching is worse at night it's probably worms. Checked bottom again before she went to sleep and saw loads of them crawling out, she had a pretty bad infestation. Took her to the doctor the next day and confirmed it as threadworms. Hope this helps.

Hi Chloe , These are the types of discharge White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection. Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating. Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising. Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor. Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown. Spotting Blood/Brown Discharge: This may occur when you are ovulating/mid-cycle. Sometimes early in pregnancy you may have spotting or a brownish discharge at the time your period would normally come. If you have spotting at the time of your normal period rather than your usual amount of flow, and you have had sex without using birth control, you should check a pregnancy test.

Hiya, I have had psoriasis in my scalp for years now, and it's embarrassing because people also think I have really bad dandruff. The product T-Gel helped to calm mine down a little, as the tar got to work straight away. Hope this of help x

Hey,Im 14 and have had psorisasis on my head scince i was 6 but recently it has been appearing all over my body to my feet up during these last four months. I have not tried many ointments or treatments but, I do have an appointment with a dermatologist. Because it is 30% hereditary it is possible that I most likely got it from my mothers side of the family but she only had hers when she was very young and it lasted a year but mine has lasted much lomger. The itching sensation is killing me and the flakes go every where. I find sculpicin a relif for the itching on my head but the itching on my body it is unbearable. Any pointers or ways I can fix my condition?

Does sound the same as my little girl she complained of itching front and back passage had a look and seen the buggers coming out her bum. I was horrified to think this was happening and have just treated whole family which includes 8 month old. From what I have read they can be laying eggs at lady bits too which would explain her going mad bout it itching bloody gross things

I got worms when I was nine abouts and ever since, they have been on and off. I would see them in my stools and feel them moving about. I told my mum and got medication, but it never fully got rid of them. Now I'm almost fourteen and I think I may still have them. I had medication probably jut under a year ago, but I've had itching since. No worms seen however. I don't get any stomach pains, just the itching for a few days every couple of months. Occasionally, I wet the bed and it's come to the point that I don't want to tell my mum again! My sister calls me wormatoid and worm butt and it really gets me down. I'm really not sure if they're still there. Anyone help me? X

Hi, my 6 year old daughter suffered from MC for about a year and half. She had around 80+ of them which most were becoming bigger as time went by. They started to get red And inflamed like boils but all dr. Would say is they will eventually go away so leave them alone. My Poor daughter was embarrassed and in pain. So after long research and wasted money on creams we came across UK google and found the answer. Full streangth apple cider vinager. Within 3 days of applying it 2x day. They have dried up and are beginning to disappear. I highly recommend it even though can become very itchy after application. I covered them with small round bandaids I applied AVC to the patting on bandaid. This stuff is awesome and I'm so thankful we finally are getting rid of them. I gave my daughter Benadryl to help with the itching. It was difficult to see her have extreme itching, but to her it was well worth it seeing they are all disappearing. They will turn black but that's because they are drying up. Hope this helps.

Try SLIPPERY ELM powder - I had an anal fissure after childbirth and was in agony. Tried all manner of creams, none of which worked. A high fibre diet and lots of water is recommended, but also try Slippery Elm powder which you can get from health food shops. Felt like it 'coated' my insides as food went down an out! It tastes revolting and you need to mix it with hot water and honey/sugar. Good luck, this condition can make you miserable. Not sure if it is ok for kids so you may have to check first.

My 11yr old son has been very irritable and I've seen him scratching his behind a lot. Does he have worms? I checked his bottom yesterday but saw nothing and it didn't look red or sore or anything? Itching is worse at night from what I've noticed.

I am sixteen as well and i know how annoying that can be since i live with someone who had the problem that you did, i honestly suggest that be best way to get them cure is being hygienic they will carry on if you scratch and then get through your system again as this is the reason that this mostly happens. at night wear gloves as that might help and just try to cure them now and be extra safe with what you do. Try to tell your mom its not stopping or that your frustrated so she can understand you but just try not to itch it while on the medication
