    My daughter is 9 years old and weighs about 7 stone I have taken her to the doctor as she has been putting on weight for some time she is active but the weight stops her sometimes as she gets tired quick and complains of sore legs. my main concern is the cellulite all over her body and legs and stretch marks on her inner thighs. the doctor says for her height she is above average for weight obese they have refered to a diatrition but she eats loads of fruit and likes veg and her sister is the total opposite she is being teased by other kids especially when swimming and she notices the way her body is herself and asks questions i'm concerned if she has cellulite now it may get worse and over the summer with being even more active every day she put on weight not lost it as i thought she would and so did the doctor.

    your not obese. thats the same as me and im only a bit taller than you. try Bio Oil, lots of people have told me it works for them. Its worth a try.

    I'm 13 and I weigh 78kg so I'm obese , but my height makes me look less fat, I read that 50-60kg is Healthy weight

    I have strech mark's on the inner of my thigh there very purple and notiicble they go all the way down my leg I have them on my breast's,my hip's, the top of my bum, and I'm not even fat, I might be a little over weight prehap's but I'm not obese, I'm very self-consious I'm only 16

    Hi im Sarah, im also 13 :) it is normal to have stretch marks, I have them on the top of my legs. Children of 13 should be 7-8.5 stone depending on your body shape. Just eat healthily, move lots and dont snack :D

    Hi, I'm 13 years old and I have stretch marks on my breasts and thighs- I'm not over weight/obese either- I weigh 7.5stone, how do I get rid of them? I hate wearing shorts and bikini's because I'm ashamed and embarressed about them.. HELP?!

    I am 5 foot 7 and 136-138lbs and 14 but i had to use the kids health checker as i couldn't find it on the teens site. I know i'm overweight but it told me i'm obese? I didn't think it was that bad! Any diets i can go on to drop a stone? Please help!!

    hi im 13 and i have deep red straech markes on my hips that are sore and i havethem on the back of my nees and inner thighs im not hugely obese but im not skinny and i get really embaressed wearing shorts or skirts.

    HI i've got the exact same problem i'm 14 and i've had my stretch marks since i was 11 or 12 , i don't get the soreness though. I heard there are some treatments that you can get that involve lasers but thats...

    ok I'm 18... about 6 ft 1 and weigh 18 and a half stone. I'm not fat looking if that makes sense, I play a lot of sport like footy, rugby and squash, and people don't see me as fat, I've just got a little bit of podge. my BMI says that I'm morbidly obese at like the top of the scale... Is the BMI test really THAT accurate?

    I know how you feel, COPING WITH SICKNESS IS HARD

    Hi I'm 14 and I'm worried that I'm overweight i want to lose weight but i can't stop eating my friends have started comenting and it scares me that in going to end up obese I'm about 5 foot and weigh about 8.5 stone that's after i lost weight even my mum has started to notice i used to be skinny any advice anyone can give me would be amazing thank you so much please help me x x

    hia im 14 and im obese and i have really bad strech marks up my thights,weist and boobs and a few on my stomache i want to cry every time i see them.Im embaressed to wear a short skit in p.e and feel loke i cant wear anything.I have tryed losing weight but evry time i do i just put it back on again.Does anybody know how i can make them less visable.x please help!! x.

    Yes, i just got stretch marks on my thigh, bottom and downer leg they r really bumpy, my sister has them too, COPING WITH SICKNESS CAN BE HARD pass the message to everyone with sickness it helps. i dont think there is a way, i tried and tried but now result, im taller than almost everyone in my group of friends, trust me, its hard

    i tried useing moisteriser and it did work for a while, but everybody on here says use bio-oil, so im goin to try it, you should to, just to see if it works x

    I'm not confident with my wieght. I would recomend slimming world if your looking for a diet. At first its abit tempting to eat fatty foods, but after a while you get used to it and instead of fatty foods you just fancy friuts:)

    My brother was just average weight, but he did 50 sit ups a night for about 2 months and he lost alot of weight, it works to lose weight if you just eat healthily and exercise like cycling and stuff, good luck x

    im13 as well and i know exactly how you feel im around 10st and im 5,8 because im tall idont look obese but i dont like the way i looki think im overweight and ive been tryna lose weight for a long time now and i love food so i find it hardto diet. but i do love sports dancing anything that involves me moving around a lot. becuase i cant diet i am just tryna not over eat and im tryna not eat sweeets becuse i only et spots when i eat junk im keeping up on sports and everything. i also get the same isweet a lot andreallly quickly if i move alot . but i bought nivea deodrant and thats helped a lot. im just going to try and exersice more like get inot gymnastics and go gym etcetc

    im 13, well 14 in july. my height is 1.67cm and im 10 stones (65kg), i would LOVE to be 8 stones, i dont see myself as obese but i am kinda fat. to be honest i used to cry when i was only 6 because of my wieght, few months ago my ballet teacher said i was really fat and i needed to lose weight, i did cry for days and days but then i realised i dont care what people think, this is who i am, i;ve got stretch marks on my legs, i never wore shorts for 2 years because i was embarrassed, i was always thinking about what other people might think of me, but now i dont really care, and thats how i lost weight because i was 65kg or more when i was 12 and now i'm nearly 14 i still can fit into my old clothes :D! if your really desperite like i was, everytime you eat do atleast 40 sit ups to tone up your stomach, and lay on your back and do that cycle thingy to tone up your legs, it does help trust me! ;;) good luck! xx
