My 10 year old has a flaky scalp, DEFINITELY NOT NITS. I have tried TGel and Oilatum but it still comes back, there are visible flakes in her hair which is shoulder length. She swims once a week and we shampoo with Head and Shoulders after that then only wash her hair up to 3 times in one week. She is getting embarrassed at school.

Hi. When I was younger I had the exact same problem. I tried T gel and that didn't work. What I used and still use now is Nizoral. It's quite expensive but well worth it. I strongly recommend. My doctor prescribed me on it. You should definitely try it.

im 13 and over 8 stone just like you and i also want to lose weight but i dont mind the way i look i just think my self as mormal or cuddly not large or chubby. :)

ask her if you can start getting healthier snacks ect. in the house (you could be putting on weight from snacking)and if you have take out a lot then maybe say to your mum could we not tonight, because I fell like something healthy -- if none of this works then tell her face to face, that your worried and maybe she could help you, just try to tell her, hope it works

Yes. Mine is like that, too. ALL girls are different and have been embarrassed before. I used to be embarrassed until I saw a picture of one like mine. Get a little mirror and famiiarize yourself with what it looks like. There's a documentary about women who feel like you called "The Perfect Vagina" so Google that. Don't worry about what other people say. Guys like it, and girls who make fun of it just don't know enough about sex yet. They're still immature and childish. This will all be fine when you're older.

do not worry. theres been cases of girls not starting til their 20's. at least youl get a chance to be a kid for a bit longer. i started mine when i was 9. the only good thing about it is you can have kids. ive had terrible cramps and mood swings for six years. enjoy your freedom while you still can.

hi there, thank God, i thought we were alone, my son is 9 and has only had a dry bed a handful of times, he's had ultra sound scan , all fine, ive done the same as you, charts rewards, more drinks, less drinks, you name it weve done it, hes been on desmomelt tablets that no longer work, keep your chin up !

My daughter age 6 came home from school with a itchy head I've found a few lice in her hair so i went straight to the chemist for some lotion I've treated her as we have never had this problem before what do i need to do now? Also does this mean she caught them off someone yesterday or she has had them longer it was the 1st day back at school after the christmas break!

Hi, I've found that the head lice treatment doesn't always work. What I suggest you do is shampoo, rinse and then condition the hair and leave in for 5 mins so the nits go sleepy, then in sections put the nit comb through, wiping the nit comb on tissue to see if there is any of the little buggers and I would do this every other day for at least a week. Nits lay their eggs and can take one, two or even three before they hatch and has your daughter had a few she probably caught them before the Christmas break. Hope this helps 😊

at the beginning of each cold, he will go through 1 maybe 2 nights where he really struggles to breath! one time we had to call the ambulance out, because he was that bad, it turned out to be an ear infection, but the said if we had left it any longer he would have started to fit....... its just really unfair for him, as he is never without a cold, and we dont no what to do! we were told it could be an allergy to something. but no, he has not suffered with broncilitus.

Try electrical tape. cover the effected area with it so it is sealed off and no light is getting through or air. leave this on and keep redressing it if the tape starts to fall off. This has worked for many people and it is pain free but it is a longer treatment. hope this helps

We went to Ossur at Leeds where the clip was filmed. Our son had Plagiocephaly and Brachiocephaly but the asymmetry seems much much worse. Went from 25mm down to 6mm and now I would say there is virtually no difference. The most important thing is to start as soon as you feel it is a problem. Do not wait and do not be put off by inexperienced health visitors. The longer you wait the less difference the helmet will make and the longer your child will have to wear it. Also do not bother going to the doctor as even if your GP supports you they cannot help you with funding atm although our GP did try.

Ask your mum to take you to see your doctor, it maybe a hormone imbalance and there maybe medication they can prescribe to get in under control for you. It is very common and people probably aren't taking any notice but understandably you are concerned good luck

I had one before just try not to lick or wet it and mine eventually just went. Also dont try to file it or scrape it off yourself as when i did there was a lot of blood and it took even longer to heal.
