Spots are certainly something all teenagers grumble at. They can be a nuisance! No worries , simply tell your parents that you feel your spots are bothering you and ask them to take you to the store or a chemist. You can get lots of spot creams these days so read the labels and find out which one suits you best! You can also get a type of face wash that you apply daily to prevent spots. Good luck!

If they're white spots that won't go away, they're totally normal. I have them too. Other spots that are be painful should be looked at by a doctor.

Hello I'm 15 years old (i mean young xD) and lately I've noticed a few small spots on my penis they are like milk spots and tried squeezing them but no luck so was wondering if anybody else has had them and had a solution for me? it would really help.

my 6 year old daughter seems to be getting a few spots on her face. Raised red lumps rather than puss filled spots. Just one or two here and there. On her cheek below the eye and at the side of her mouth or on the nose. They come and go within a day or two. They dont seem to bother her at all. But they keep coming. Is it acne? is it eczema? is it a bite? or an allergic reaction due to food intolerane? Can anyone help me?

How old is she? If she is under six months and not showing any signs of distress or any other symptoms such as a fever or fussiness for no reason then it's probably baby acne but take her to a gp or walk in centre to rule out something more serious

Hi, my 8 year old daughter has small little 'spots' on her upper arms. They look like they could be squeezed but it is very painful so I haven't done this. They don't bother her at all - they don't itch etc. They spots are only on her upper arms? Does anybody have any idea what it could be?

Hi have you had any response to your question, as we got back from Menorca just over a week ago and my son came out in red spots while we were away and now we are back I've noticed a few more appearing, docs said that it's not chicken pox, but it's obviously something contageous as my daughter has a couple on her leg and one on her forehead. They are mostly on my sons arms and face, first we thought maybe bed bugs, but now my daughter has a few since we have been back we have no idea, and the 2 doctors we have seen don't know either!

How long does it take for the spots and blisters to go away?

Hi, My 8yr old son has had molluscum Contagioasum for over a year now. About 30-35 down his leg and underarms. I have read some of the advice regarding the natural remedies (Manuka Honey etc). Thanks I shall definitely try them out as these spots are very unsightly and now some of the spots are becoming very uncomfortable and painful. Over the last 2 weeks two of these spots have formed very pussy heads and unfortunately I had to pop one because he was in so much pain. It's dried up and another one has just popped on its own which looks rather infected no so I'm seeing my gp tomorrow.I shall keep you posted as to the outcome and shall also inform her of the suggestions made on this page (see what she says)

My daughter (aged 10) had Molluscum Contagiosum diagnosed about a year ago. The doctor said that nothing could be done and that the spots would go away in their own time, although it could take up to 2 years! I read about the Apple Cider Vinegar treatment, gave it a go, and within a week the spots had disappeared and we have not had any more bother since. I used Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, I soaked some cotton pads (you could use cotton balls) in the vinegar and placed them on my daughters spots. I held them in place with bandages. She did say that they stung a little bit, and one night they stung a lot so we took them off. Place them onto the spots at night and take them off in the morning. Within 3 days the spots will turn black and by day 7 they will have disappeared. Make sure that you continue the treatment until they have all gone, if the children find the spots sting when the cotton pads are put into place, wait until they are asleep. I hope that the info has helped.

I read that applying comvita manuka honey works so I bought some from Boots (£26!). Have been using it for about a month and now some of the spots have got red and inflamed. It seems to be speeding up the process but is it a good sign that the spots are scabbing over even if they are uncomfortable? Has anyone else had any success with this treatment?

Hi there, im danielle and im 18. When i started puberty i got spots on my face, and then from my shoulders down to nearly the bottom of my back and now still at my age i get spots on my face and breasts. I found that using a clean cotton make up removal pad with baby lotion (the pink johnsons stuff) helps to clear spots. If you rub in circles not too hard because you don't want to irritate the skin through rubbing but not too gentle because you need to clean out the pours. I found that every spot cream or tablet i took made them worse but drinking more water and eating less junk food helped me too (:

My 8 year old daughter has had molluscum for nearly a year now. We have tried all sorts of treatments. Thuja, zymaderm and lastly manuka honey. I'm not sure any of them are working. It started on her neck and has now spread all over her body, torso, legs, bum, neck and she has 2 spots on her face (in total approx 40 spots). Her Dad and I seem to be more upset about it than her. If anything we would say the honey is working best. It cleared up spots on neck in about 2 weeks but then a new batch appeared. Maybe we should saveour money and listen to the Dr's who say they will go away on their own. My heart goes out to other parents and children suffering. It's a horrible virus one you wouldn't wish upon anybody.

My daughter had this and eventually got rid if them using molludab which is now available on prescription . She is only 5 and had them over a year. It brings them to a head and they look red for a couple of weeks but then they all went. I tried everything but most seemed to make it worse.

don't worry, you can use clearisil to reduce the spots or use freederm gel. make sure you do not use oily make up to avoid more spots.

my 5 year old boy has the spots around and in his mouth only, no spots on his hands and feet.. he has all the other symptoms...can it still be hand foot and mouth??

My son has had this for about 8 months. He had one spot on his arm, the Dr said to leave alone ... Then a few more apeared. I ordered molludab (£20) which seemed to be working as spots got red and inflamed... Then nothing! Then I noticed he had a couple on his torso so read up and heard some good things about zymaderm(£20!) I have been using that for about 2 weeks now and the spots have come out in force! He must have around 15 on his torso now... Has anyone else had this? Now I don't know what to so as it seems this treatment making it worse!

My 6 year old son has had these. The 1st spot started under his armpit in Jan,spread under the arm and went down both insides of his legs. They did get really sore as his trousers kept rubbing the spots and making them burst. It seemed that they kept coming all the time. In the last 4 weeks they have all cleared up and just left tiny red scars. It may help to try and squeeze them after having a bath as they are soft and you can wipe the spots to stop them spreading.

I am 42 and had caught this from my son, i had no more than 6 or 7 spots at a time. They were mainly on my chest, arms & under arms and a few on my head and legs. Some od the spots lasted for 5 months before they erupted in puss and became painfull. It took 15 months for this to run its course.

Hi Kelly, we applied the neat tea tree on cotton buds and pads every night before bed for 10 weeks . Almost gave in and looking up ordering the dermAlly but we left it as the cores were all coming out the spots and we pulled the white cores out with our finger nails some spots bled a lot so put on a savlon plaster. Applied lots of savlon too when dry. Today more than half of the spots are gone and the rest are just surface type bumps but no cores so we are just dabbing them now an then with the oil I'm sure they will go . It did take a few months for us but it worked. Good luck I would try it and keep it up. My ones got very sensitive skin and it did got a bit red and dry but it, s fine now no problems at all. Think my son was as anxious to get rid so he was more than happy with us putting on the oil and helped with the cores even himself!! Don't think it was too sore either. Hope you have good results ASAP.

My son is 4yrs old and he also has had the condition since Oct/Nov 2009. In March I was searching online and found the 100 Percent Nature website and I bought the kit recommended there. The results have been amazing. In one month, not only the spots have decreased in number but also have not spread. The condition has also stopped bothering him as it was before - he had terrible itching as well as pain when the spots burst. I wish I had taken before and after pics!
