Hi, I'm 20 but when I was 15/ 16 I had stretch marks all over my thighs, bum stomach and boobs. As far as I know, they where just from growing and getting curves. They weren't very nice too look at (especially the ones on my stomach. I looked like I'd had a baby) but they did fade and now I can only find them if I'm looking for them. With any luck, your's will just fade away when you've finishd growing.

I'm 13 and the gum behind my back bottom tooth (both sides) is swollen, and around the tooth there are parts where I can pull the gum away, it hurts when I eat and I'm scared its gum disease?

My son has been on movicol for over a yr and his belly is swollen. My doctor suggested limiting his portions, which I did. My son eats very heartily and doesn't take any dairy products either. I asked could my son be refered to a specialist and was told no, his doctor said I am obsessed wiv his belly being swollen m I said I was concerned. What can I do to make him listen? I hav been festering him for ages and I an getting angry now

I'm 14 and it is just a pain in the bum! I have excess hair on my arms, stomach (mainly my stomach!) and toes and sometimes it really gets me down. I just wish i had the confidence to wear a bikini or even just a top that doesn't hide my stomach area away. My arm hair doesn't annoy me as much but it is still a pain when I see my other friends who don't have it or when people comment about it.

For larger areas like arms you could always try epilating the hairs but this is VERY painful at first, though does get easier every time. This also thins the hair with every epilation. As for your tummy, that's a tricky one, you could try going to your doctors and asking for some sort of herbal supplement or anything that they might be able to suggest. xxx Hope this helped :)

Some boys and men are attracted to female body hair. If someone cannot accept you just because of your hair then they are the ones who have a problem.

Hi, I have IBS too and thought that the itchy feeling was that too, but now I think it is worms and have taken medication. For your IBS, look up FODMAP diet devised by Dr Sue Shepherd. It has been working for me. Eat lots of yogurt for your stomach if you can eat dairy, and see a gastroenterologist for more advice. Good luck!

don't be embaressed dear. talk to your doctor he/she will give you medications that will actualy work to reduce your body hair. forget about natural remedies, science knows better. i personaly take a drug named finasteride and it has reduced my hair growth speed and also thickness of hairs. don't be sad honey, think of it this way: atleast our problem can be solved by alot of methods like shaving. think about people who have something embarresing that can't be fixed.

i hv also the same problem, hairy everywhere from my side burns to the end of my legs,nd the worst arts are my stomach nd lower back....i m 19 years old,.there was a time when i was just broken from inner side,i cried everynight.alot of time i wasted in thinking of this, but now i realized that m not alone.m a women and a complete women, m a eastern girl so there is m not scared of bf type thing, yup i,ll marry one day,nd i will choose a person who love me not bcz of my body but for my soul.don,t b embarassed, what is ur fault, just b confident, then u,ll see the diffrence yourself.nd now about treatment i go to gyno nd also skin specialist, treating both my hormones level nd deciding laser on my face,nd i waxed my stomach nd legs every month, stomach skin bleeds but i noticed the difference, hair are less now.

im now concerned i have been told i have a glandular fever and all my glands have swollen and some days i find it hard to swallow and my throat feels all dry and itchy and its been hurting for about a year so have i got a severe condition of it or something different

I have had a lot of problems going for a poo ever since the pregnancy. I have never had a problem before that I remember. I literally feel like my poo is really really big. too big to come out. and feels like glass. I barley go often since birth. every 4 days upwards I would say. but now I hold it in because of the pain I literally shake and cry when I try to go. I have tried creams to grease it up but it doesn't work. I need to go now but it hurts to bad. what can I do right now?

My daughter has suffered severe stomach pains loose stools and severe bloating of the stomach. We have been under a professor at the hospital for the last 2 and half years. All they keep doing is giving her laxatives including Picolax which is a severe laxative which she is currently taking daily causing her to soil herself regularly. She is on a dairy free diet which does seem to help slightly but we seem no futher forward now than before!! he is querying coeliac disease, chron's and ibs. Think it is now time to get a second opinion.....

my son is 9 years old, he has very rarely gone to the toilet on his own. He soiled his pants every day 3 to 4 times a day. Last year i read a book from America and it said to treat the constipation from the back passage up. In otherwords use a suppository. For the last 12 months my son has been clean,he has a supository every 3 days and within 1/2hr he goes to the toilet on his own he gets the feeling. We are now trying the lactulose to see if he gets the feeling to go on his own but everything is very positive.

Hi my daughter of 6 has 5 on her lips 3 in the upper inside mouth at 2 round the sides .i rang the doctors and they said it's tonsilitious because I said her glands are up . He then prescribed me penicillin and it is nearly all gone with nothing really working ... Olsers are still there and tonsils still swollen . At my wits end as she won't even have liquids like ice cream now as she's complaining of the pain in her teeth too ...... Help please

Hi ,my son went through exactly the same. They gave him penicillin and the had and allergic reaction to it!My friend said she used corlum pellets and they really help! Good luck, hope she gets better soon.

My daughter has exactly the same thing. She also had fever and was in so much pain. Antibiotics were not working. After numerous visits to the doctors ,blood tests and mouth swabs it was confirmed she had a nasty virus called gingivostomatitis. It was a 10 day contagious virus. Only contagious through saliva. So if you share cups, kiss etc. perhaps this is what your child had. Might be Worthing reading up about it cause doctors said once they have this they are then very prone to getting cold sores and mouth ulcers from here on. This all happened back in January 2014 and now (March 2014) we have had her on medication for more ulcers but they have cleared up quickly.

Hi my daughter is 9 this year in may, about 6 months ago she developed a swollen breast and during xmas 2013 this had grown an she now has pubic hair, mood swings and emotional outbursts she is very body conscious, can this be a start of puberty happening and if so is there a rough estimate as to when she will start her 1st period?

My daughter has recurring conjuntivitus, swollen sore watery eyes. She's been seen in an emergency eye clinic. The said her eyes are healthy, and they think the eye area goes bad due to a type of eczema, because she also has dandruff , and eczema on her ears. She is 9years old and suffers from eczema, allergies, hay fever and mild peanut allergy. Please can you give advise, this has been going on for over a year and we are concerned as parents.

might not be pinworms - sounds like piles, when you get a little constipated you can damage yourself on the inside which swells with blood and can feel like a stabbing pain. the moving sensation can be the swollen lump moving around inside (it tickles and hurts, a lot)- a bit like varicose veins in your anus. A doctor can prescribe pile creams or you can buy stuff over the counter but you do need to speak to the GP to make sure. Hope this helps!
