Hello, i am a 14 year old girl and suffer from an eating disorder since i was 12, i get very tired a lot of the time but can then go very hyperactive but will be tired again after. Although i have an eating disorder i am slightly overweight and have been dieting/doing as much excersize as possible but i am unable after a short period as i get tired and my asthma also causes me trouble. Therefore as much as i might diet i cannot seem to actually shift away much weight as i would like. I have painful and clicky hips but my gp said that i should be fine i have results of an exray on its way. After looking up ways to loose weight on a daily bases i have ran out of ways to loose weight whilst being healthy and as you can probably imagine with all my problems i am finding it really hard. Please could you get back with help as soon as possible.?

Hey mate. You should get a test done as soon as possible, just to put your mind at risk. Just ask your mum, and she will test to straight away, and don't worry about asking her, because it will put her mind at ease as well to do the test. Good luck mate, and let me know what happens plz. Btw i am type 1 diabetic :D

my daughter at 23 had the same symptoms, i took her to a pharmacy to rule out diabetes, but, she had type 1...if i hadn't of taken her when i did she would have gone into a coma....now we dont want that happening to you, go and get tested, take your mum with you, there is nothing to be ashamed of....let me know how you get on xx

my son (age 2) has been diagnosed with bilateral tight tendo-achilles. Is there something you can do about it. He is currently walking on his toes and tired all the time after a short walk. He is currently having therapy to improve core stability. We are still waiting for him to be referred to a specialist and just wondering what kind of treatment there will be to get this rectified. We are worried as he will be attending reception/ pre-school soon and don't want him to miss out.

My sister seems to have constipation. She's always been prone to sore throats and a bad stomach. This happened to her the same before and she was put on medication, a month after she stopped it started again, we've tried to give her something to help but its just making her vomit. If she does finally 'go' its often been small clumps and very hard which is hurting her. She eats plenty of fibre and drinks enough. She's very tired a lot but still can't manange to stay asleep and often wakes up in the night in pain. Also she has extremely violent and sudden mood swings that nobody can control... What should we do???

Hi I think you may have tonsil stones, I have them too. Nobody seems to know how to get rid of them, mine began about 4 years ago and I am 41! They are a build up of bacteria and food on your tonsils, they are definitely not worms! I can push mine out with a cotton bud but be careful. I do sympathise they are really yukky. Try and use a mouthwash and gargle every day and and keep your diet healthy. Mine are better when I,m not tired and also they disappeared altogether when I was pregnant which was weird but maybe they are hormone related? if it's any consolation definitely not worms! But if you are getting abdominal pain that may be something unrelated, maybe go to your gp for advice.

I can advise you pranic healing which is an energy healing technique , u can get pranic healing done also u can do the two day course your self. It can help u treat and prevent your ulcers i wish u all the best. Look it up on internet and find a pranic healing centre close to you.

I know exactly how you feel. I suffered with them all my life. It really effected my childhood. A couple of years ago I was having a few blood test at doctors and it turned out I was b12 deficient. My body was not absorbing it. So I have to have b12 injections every 12 weeks and it was like a miracle cure. My mouth ulcers stopped. I get the odd One now and then but nothing like what I suffered all my life.

Hi- if your child also is very flexible (double jointed etc) it might be worth checking out the Hypermobility Assoc website as long term constipation is a symptom associated with the illness and many of the laxatives do not work - we had 5 days of 12 sachets of movicol and it did no good at all.

If your daughter is developing trichotillomaina, she should be constently tugging, playing, or messing with hair on her head, eyelashes or eyebrows. But if you are getting worried, go to the doctor, its nothing to be embarrest about, i know, i have it. if you start to see bald patches or hair missing, then visit your family doctor or GP.

I am 16, and I am worried that I am diabetic, I have to go to the toilet all the time, I drink a lot, feel tired all the time, and have lost so much energy in the last 6 months. I always think though surely I would know by now if I was diabetic. If I'm not, what could it be?
