my 8 year old grandson, has discoloured teeth, his teeth seem to have a marble effect going through the teeth than discloured due to staining, seems to be the tooth then something on 'top' of the teeth discoloring them. It appears they have grown this way. Have you heard of this before and what can be done about it and where.

Just don't worry, go on a diet it worked for me. :)

My daughter is now 13 and has had a toilet problem since i can remember, i have tried everything with her and tried to figure out why she poo's her knickers, i have tried the bribes, praises and the taking things away stuff but nothing works. When she was little i would see her standing in a corner tensing when she wanted a poo, she would cross her legs and hold it in. When she discovered i knew what she was doing she would hide and push me away, i used to take her to the toilet and make her sit for 5 mins but this never worked either,. She was under a specialist for about 3 years who just gave her movicol and whatever other laxative they have (she has tried them all), she has been tested for coeliac, liver & kidney problems, she has had dye put in her to find any blockages and has been in hostpital twice to try help but everything is negitive and "nothing wrong", the specialist said she will have to be on laxatives for years and eventually it will go, she soils herself everyday, she smells really bad everyday and goes through 3 pairs of knickers a day, it's not a full lump of poo in her knickers, it's the bits that seep out form the sides (as the doctor said)the main part of it is what the cant get out and the last time i saw "the main part" she was 4. I took her off the medicine as she would gip and often be sick (have these doctors tasted Movicol, it is like eating powdered salt, she now has constant belly and head ache, always wants to go to sleep and is at least a foot shorter than all her friends, she cant stomach any medicine other than calpol. I have considered her seeing a child physiatrist as it may be in her head and may have a fear of going to the toilet, i have spoken to my daughter openly about her problems and she is scared to go but also said she can't go. I'm constantly back & forth with this and have not had an answer to her problem in the 13 years she has had this problem. All i can say at the moment is i dont think there is an answer to this, if it cant be treated with medicine or treatment then doctors dont know what to do. She has been trying hard to sit on the toilet when she feels it's coming out but always says it goes back up, i have bought her some senokot which she said she doesnt mind having but because it makes her runny she wont have it, laxatives dont make the child go to the toilet they make it worse, even though it's soft and pain free she still wont go.

My wifes younger brother was treated for the same thing when he was about 13. Research "marie charchot tooth disease". IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TEETH. it just has the word tooth in it because it's named after the person who first researched this disease I guess the last name was tooth. anyway check it out it might help you...it might not.

My teeth are also getting bad. Every tooth with a filling, either the filling has come out and the tooth is decaying or the tooth is broken where the filling should be. My teeth are also slowly breaking off and top teeth are getting smaller. They hurt all of the time.

im 13 and my tooth started to come out in really little pieces and now ive got a little whole in my tooth why is this?and should i get it checked out???

My son is two years and a month old and has just started dribbing again, he hasn't dribbled since he was one. He fell over and bashed his jaw and complains occasionally when eating, could a sore tooth cause dribbling? Is it possible for a baby of his age to need a tooth filling?

You need to buy a fine tooth comb and some head lice lotion. Use the lotion as described. Once used, used the fine tooth comb to remove any head lice and eggs. Then for 7-10 days wash your daughters hair every night then whilst still wet apply conditioner and again use the fine tooth comb. Once you have found no further head lice for at least 3 days you can be assured she is clear however every time you wash her hair apply conditioner and comb through with a fine tooth comb (at least once every week) this will allow early detection if they return. You can also buy shampoo and conditioner which contains tea tree oil. Head lice do not like it and it helps to repel them. It is always advisable to have children with long hair to wear their hair up especially when they're around other children who may have head lice. Because it's cold at the minute you can get really nice hats which will help prevent infestation. You can't ever STOP her getting them but you can make it harder for the head lice to get in her hair.

My 8 yr old son's adult teeth are severely discoloured. He has white marks on some teeth but his bottom adult teeth almost look orange (the colour deepens towards his gums). I brush his teeth twice daily with a childs sonic tooth brush and have even tried whitening tooth paste but to no avail. I have seen two different dentists - one who said its just the colour of his teeth and he could whiten them later. The other said he just isn't brushing them properly?! As we all know children can be cruel and im concerned that my gorgeous boy may be picked on, as even I agree, his teeth do not look healthy.

this may be gingivitis (Google this)this is unable to be see but if it gets worse her gums might start to bleed it may not be gingivitis but the symptoms seem similar to it so to resolve this visit your dentist she may need a injection but don't worry it is injected really fast and or if she does not need a injection you will be able to get some tables that will stop the gingivitis and the bad breath

Look at the symptoms for Charcot-Marie Tooth. Her curled toes aka claw toes. Does she have high arches? Muscles weakness. Read up onlines and question Neurologist again.

I always get mouth ulcers. I'm 15 and I'm a stress head. Mum said that's why and it's probably right. I've just started in year 11 and things are stressful so I'm back using baby tooth paste as that's the only one that doesn't hurt when I use it. Mum makes me have a bath and a relax so I'm less stressed. I hope it works.
